McCormick Ranch, Scottsdale

In 1970, McCormick Ranch was sold to Kaiser-Aetna.  In 1980, Transcontinental Properties became the master developer of the Ranch.  By developing carefully planned phases since 1972, the beauty and lifestyle that was so treasured by the McCormick family is now assimilated by spacious homes, golf courses, town homes, tennis courts, condominiums, parks, resorts, restaurants, patio homes, pools, shopping centers, lakes and is Scottsdale's largest planned community.  McCormick Ranch now has a population of over 15,000 people, over half of which have come from out of state to find good home values, a desired planned community concept, recreational facilities and a climate conducive to open space and outdoor
